There are two sources of gluten free foods in Australia. These are:
For foods to be labelled gluten free in Australia they must contain no detectable gluten. This standard is far more stringent than many other countries and so you may find that the types, tastes and textures of gluten free foods available in Australia are different if you are from overseas. Finding Gluten Free Foods In supermarkets many of the gluten free products are found in the health food aisles. Increasingly however many of these products are found in the general supermarket aisles amongst other foods.
