The Coeliac Society of Western Australia was founded in 1979 with fifty-six members. Today there are fifteen hundred members and with 1 in 100 individuals having coeliac disease this is expected to increase.

We are fortunate to receive some assistance from Health WA and this, along with membership subscriptions, donations and advertising payments, are the source of our operating funds.
